We reciprocate the students by appreciation of their talents and abilities individually so that other students are also motivated to join the race for better performance. Working hard to encourage the students to focus on achievement is rigorously followed by all the faculty members. We are really proud of the individualized attention by the faculty members to all the students and the ladder of success that has been attained by our school over the short period of twenty plus years after privatization. We have yet more designs for the future and aim to follow our goals of achieving more laurels for the Academy in the years to come, Insha Allah.
The Academy was established by The Begum Aisha Bawany Wakf, founded in memory of the late Begum Aisha Bawany by her heirs. The school became operational in July 1961. Mr. Ebrahim Ahmed Bawany (Late) | Founder and life time Chairman till his sad demise in 1982, was himself bestowed | with the best of education and was a man of vision. He visualized the future needs of the ever growing metropolis city and built the most aesthetic school buildings for boys and girls separately on a large single area in the heart of Karachi. The basic values of Islam in view, the system of education was evolved as an amalgamation of religious teachings and the most modern education in literature, science and commerce. Equipped with state of the art infrastructure and manned by the highly qualified and experienced faculty, the school kept growing by leaps and bounds and was one of the most prestigious educational Institute of Karachi metropolis till 1972, when it was impounded by the then government under the banner of nationalization. During the entire tenure of government control, though the name of Aisha Bawany Academy and the majesty of the buildings remained shining, however, the education itself received a serious set back and pushed the goals of the founders to obscurity. By the grace of Almighty Allah the helm of affairs of running the school was again given back to the founding family in 1985 and since then consistent effort is being made to bring the school back from shambles to the glory of the past. Jealously guarding the motto of “Teaching with Modern Education” to a point to no compromise, the school has regained good reputation and today we are imparting quality education to the children of low to middle income group people. It is also good to note that higher strata families have also inducted their children for “O” Level education in view of good track records in the examinations.
